I'm Cameron James, a solo builder. I run LiveDocument, and I build in public: revenue numbers, mistakes, the lot.

I started this directory because I was tired of buying tools based on affiliate roundups written by someone who never opened the product. Every listing here is a tool I looked at myself.

How listings get made

A research agent investigates one tool a day, pulling from the pricing page, the docs, and real user reviews, not a press release.

I read every draft before it ships. If the research is thin or the verdict feels off, it goes back for another pass.

Editorial policy

Verdicts are honest, and that includes telling you when a tool is not worth your money. I'd rather lose an affiliate click than send you somewhere that wastes your time.

I check every fact against the live product on the day I write it. Pricing and features change, so check the date on a listing before you buy.

No listing can pay to change its verdict. Affiliate deals affect nothing about what gets written.
